booking terms & conditions

The following terms and conditions relate to the booking of our courses and as such, booking a course with us constitutes your acceptance of these terms and conditions.

1. Booking a courses

1.1 Course bookings can be made online, by telephone or email.

1.2 A course is considered as booked when payment in full, or by way of deposit has been received.

2. Provisional bookings

2.1 A provisional booking is where a place has been requested, but no deposit or payment has been made.

2.2 Provisional bookings are not secure. 

2.3 To secure a provisional booking payment must be made as set out in Section 3 – Payment terms.

2.4 Priority is given to those who have either paid a deposit or paid in full.

2.5 Provisional bookings cannot be made less than 4 weeks prior to the course start date. 

2.6 Any provisional booking not paid in full at least 2 weeks prior to the course may be subject to cancellation by us, concordant with Section 6 – Cancellations.

3. Payment terms

3.1 A deposit for a course may be used to secure a placement up to 4 weeks prior to course start date.

3.2 A deposit consists of 50% value of the course fee.

3.3 Bookings must be paid in full where the enquiry is less than 4 weeks prior to the course start date.

3.4 The balance on any deposit held booking is due in full no less than 3 weeks prior to the course start date.

3.5 Any course held by a deposit, but unpaid up to 1 week prior to course start date may be cancelled subject to Section 6 – Cancellations.

3.6 Payments can be made online, by telephone, e-Invoice, invoice or by BACS.

4. Course date transfer

4.1 Should you need to change to a different course date than you are booked to attend, subject to timescales, transfer fees may apply as set out below:

     4.1.1 More than 6 weeks notice: No Charge

     4.1.2 Between 6 and 4 weeks: 25% of course fee

     4.1.3 Between 4 and 2 weeks: 50% of course fee

     4.1.4 Less than 2 weeks: 75% of course fee 

4.2 All transfers must take place within 3 months of the original date.

5. Course non-attendance

5.1 Should you, or your delegate be booked for a course, and fail to attend, without prior notice as set out in Section 6 – Cancellations, the fee remains payable and non-refundable.

5.2 Failing to attend also covers arriving late, and the terms as set out in Section 6.1 are applicable.

5.3 Admission to a delegate arriving late is at the sole discretion of the trainer, who’s decision is final.

5.4 Leaving a course early for whatever reason, even with prior communication may result in the delegate receiving an automatic fail grade for the entire course.

6. Cancellations

6.1 Should you cancel your course booking, the following fees apply:

6.2 Should you need to cancel your booking, subject to timescales, cancellation fees may apply as set out below:

     6.2.1 More than 8 weeks’ notice: No Charge

     6.2.2 Between 8 and 6 weeks: 25% of course fee

     6.2.3 Between 6 and 4 weeks: 50% of course fee

     6.2.4 Between 4 and 2 weeks: 75% of course fee

     6.2.5 Less than 2 weeks: 100% of course fee

6.3 All cancellations must be made in writing via email.

6.4 Cancellations by way of non-attendance remain subject to the fees specified.

6.5 We reserve the right to cancel your provisional booking should you fail to make payment under section 3 – Payment terms.

6.6 We reserve the right to cancel your deposit held booking should you fail to make payment under section 3 – Payment terms.

7. Venues

7.1 We will offer our courses in various venues and locations.

7.2 We will provide information on the location, and best access methods, including available parking, however;

7.3 It is the delegates responsibility to manage their transportation where required. 

7.4 Using parking, either at the venue or elsewhere is the responsibility of the delegate.

7.5 We can offer training ‘In-House’ at your place of work subject to risk assessment.

8. Unforeseen circumstances

8.1 There is occasionally the potential that due to circumstances and events out of our control we may be forced to cancel a course (known as a force majeure events). 

8.2 Where this eventuality occurs, we give you as much notice as possible

8.3 We will offer you a free transfer to another date, or;

8.4 A full refund of the course fee, or;

8.5 A credit note for another course of your choosing.

8.6 We cannot be held liable to any other costs you have incurred because of the cancellation. 

9. Corporate information

9.1 We abide to the terms of the Distance Selling Regulations 2000.

9.3 VAT rates apply at time of booking. VAT number 261 8889 58

9.4 Booking a course constitutes your agreement with terms and conditions.
