First Aid Risk Assessment Training

This course will provide detailed information about the considerations and relevant factors in order to determine the needs and requirements and to ultimately produce a Risk Assessment of First Aid Needs for the business.

First Aid Risk Assessment Training is a 1-day course that can be certificated with a non-regulated MVA training certificate or certificated with the Ofqual regulated FAA Level 2 Award in First Aid Risk Assessment Training (RQF). Aimed at managers and decision-makers who must conduct workplace first aid risk assessments.

First Aid Risk Assessment Training courses delivered throughout the UK are Health and Safety Executive (HSE) approved, so you can be certain that the quality of training and first aiders in your organisation are of the standard you need.

About This Training Course

The identified aims of our First Aid Risk Assessment course are:

To promote health and well being in the workplace.
To provide employers with the skills to complete a detailed and effective risk assessment for first aid.

The objectives of this course are:

To know the role and responsibilities of a First Aid Appointed Person.
To understand the employer’s responsibilities in respect of First Aid.
To know how to manage a First Aid related incident in the absence of a qualified First Aider or Emergency First Aider.

This course covers the following topics:

Legislative requirements for first aid provision in the workplace.
First Aid equipment for the workplace.
Identifying hazards in the workplace and the impact for first aid provisions.
Conducting an assessment of an incident
Understanding the importance of CPR.

This course is normally delivered between the hours of 09:00 – 17:00.

There are two options for certification:
The learner can be certificated with a non-regulated MVA training certificate OR
The learner can be certificated with the Ofqual regulated FAA Level 2 Award in First Aid Risk Assessment Training (RQF)
